What's covered during the Town of Dewitt
sessions? |
The Town of Dewitt Beginning Golf
Clinics run for four weeks (with an extra week scheduled in
case one lesson gets rained out.) Each session is one hour long
and the fundamentals of golf are addressed. All sessions are
held at the LSM Golf facility at Drumlins (right
next to the driving range -- see map.)
Full Swing Program (with video)
This beginner program will focus on the fundamentals of grip, posture and
stance. The objective is to build a swing that is on plane (or has a good shape
to it) and we will use video to monitor their progress.
Class sizes have been
reduced to 8 to give more individual attention to each participant. Students
should meet at the Drumlins Driving Range, and clubs will be provided if
necessary.
Short Game Program
This beginner program will introduce students to basic shots around the green
including chipping, pitching, bunker shots, and putting. Focusing on a 3 club
system, this program will help students with club selection, visualization, and
execution. Students should meet at the Drumlins Driving Range, and clubs will be
provided if necessary.
The cost for town residents is $100.00 for a 4-week program, 8 students
maximum.
The cost for non residents is $105.00.
Check the
schedule on our calendar page. Town of Dewitt uses a Town
Registration form (not the LSM Golf form.) It is available by
linking here, OR, to register, call
the Town at 315/446-9250.

General Questions |
What happens if I register and the
session I have chosen is already full?
- We will call you to try to find an
available date that fits your schedule.
Will you confirm my choice of date
for my session?
- No -- if you don't hear from us, you
are confirmed. We generally contact people right away when we
receive their requested date and they've chosen a session that is
already full.
What happens if it rains?
- We live in Syracuse! The
weather is always unpredictable. Because of that, we wait
until the last minute before we cancel any school or clinic. If there is
a question, call the Drumlins Pro Shop at 446-5580. If your
school or clinic is cancelled, we will work with you to find another date.
