Creating a "Special K"

The Problem
When addressing the ball, many people have a tendency to fight a natural tilt, so they will try to even out their shoulders. This unnatural position creates potential for poor club position, body alignment problems, and loft issues.

The Solution
Since your right hand is lower on the golf club, your right shoulder should naturally be lower than your left shoulder. This will give you the feeling of being tilted (since you are!!) and will position your head behind the ball. This natural set up position will lead to better ball striking and higher ball flight.

The resulting position is like the letter K -- backwards -- but a K all the same!

Remember anything that we can do PRIOR to the swing is to our advantage to produce good golf swings. Pay attention to the details beforehand and soon you'll be on your way to better scores!!
